Wild Food Cafe is a raw-centric, vegan / vegetarian eatery located in the magical Neal’s Yard in Covent Garden, London. We are all about wild, fresh, colourful gourmet ingredients created around the art and science of feeling great! ♥
We source our ingredients from local independent suppliers and organic producers as much as we can and always include wild foraged food in our recipes. Our food is made daily on the premises.
In the 70s Neal’s Yard consisted of a few derelict warehouses on the edge of the less than fashionable Covent Garden area. Within a few years it became a crazy hidden-away place with a bunch of small independent visionary businesses representing a seedbed for ideas about living a fulfilled life; a communal place in central London; a holistic ethos which nurtures creativity and wellbeing; independent businesses with ethical values. It’s no longer the 70’s but we feel those are still great values to bring into the 21st century.
The Wild Food Cafe is here to promote aliveness and embody a world in which plant-passionate, nutrient-packed food that is prepared and served with love is not only possible, it is necessary!
Every day we co-create an oasis right in the centre of a sprawling metropolis, especially for those of you who know that sublime food prepared with love, care and a bucket-load of playful innovation is going to do so much more than fill your belly! It will bring a glow to your eyes, nourish your whole being and inspire you to give your very best to the world.
ABOUT JOEL AND AISTE
Joel started out as a budding architect, but discovered that the ultimate architecture is not in the buildings and cities, but in our own lives, minds and bodies. This journey led him to deep exploration of body movement, nutrition, raw food, detoxification, paleo and indigenous diet, Ayurveda, Chinese medicine, tonic herbalism, wild foraging and more! Joel has been sharing and teaching internationally in the raw food and wellbeing fields for the past 15 years and now his lifetime’s experiences, together with an ever-expanding passion for innovation (there’s definitely a level of madness about Joel!), are condensed in Wild Food Café & Wild Wellbeing & Raw Food Courses that he regularly teaches, together with Aiste and the Wild Team.

Aiste has always immersed herself in wellbeing and spiritual traditions, leading a healthy and authentic lifestyle and has always had a burning desire to have a positive impact in the world. It was actually during her political studies and work as a food photographer that Aiste discovered her passion for food as a vehicle of individual and social transformation. It is this drive that complements Joel’s creativity so well in the running of the Wild Food Café and Raw Food Immersion Workshops.
